Jazzmatazz Dance is the partnership of dancers Attila Kozma and Alison
McNeill.
Attila and Alison share a passion for dance and enjoy sharing their skills with
others. They have been dancing and teaching together since 2004 when they first
discovered their mutual love of dancing.
Attila Kozma is professionally-trained through the
Tata Dance Studio in Budapest, Hungary. He started formal dance training
and competition
at the age of seven and studied Standard Ballroom
(Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Tango), Latin American Dance (Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Salsa,
Jive), European Folk Dance, Polka, and Tap under the tutelage of Erika Nemet. Since
coming to Canada in 1981, Attila has been dancing recreationally and has added East Coast
Swing, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Two-Step, and Six-Step to his list of skills.
Alison McNeill is
a certified teacher in the public school system. She is
currently teaching Senior Dance and Junior French at College Heights
Secondary. Alison formerly taught dancing
throughout School District 57 elementary schools,
and had the pleasure of teaching Dance 11 at PGSS for two years. She is a self-trained dancer, building on her skills acquired through a
lifetime of formal music training.
When their teaching schedule permits, Attila and Alison can be
found dancing at Cadillac Ranch in Prince
George. Their beginner classes run through the
Family Y and the UNBC Fitness Centre; intermediate classes
are run independently
at Knox United Church. Attila and Alison
enjoy dancing East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Two-Step, Waltz, Cha-Cha, Salsa,
Rumba, and Polka and are currently
working on Hustle and Nite Club 2. They are
constantly at work to add new moves and other styles of dance to their teaching
repertoire.

We simply love to dance and we hope to share our passion with all of our students!
Through our teaching we hope to foster a love of social dance and work to build a
community of dancers that is based on respect, skill acquisition and sharing, and personal
achievement.
Our ultimate goal is to open a studio in town that
will provide social dance instruction to adults and youth of all ages. In
addition, this facility would provide dance practice space for local dance
groups and clubs, act as a venue for local dances, and host special dance
workshops with guest instructors from other communities. Alison also
hopes to provide child/youth
dance instruction in a private studio setting.
